Discovering The Bhagavad Gita
Thank you for joining us for our two-part series on the Bhagavad-Gita! If you practice yoga or apply some of the principals of Ayurveda in your life, then you’ve already been exposed to Vedic knowledge. The Bhagavad-Gita is considered by many to be the essential teaching of the Veda.
Part I: April 6 | The Bhagavad Gita in Context - In this session, we learned about the Bhagavad-Gita in the context of Vedic literature.
Part II: May 4 | Essential Teachings of the Gita - In the second session, we dove deeper into the Bhagavad-Gita, exploring its teachings with an emphasis on sankhya, the understanding of the true nature of the Self.
2025 Community Cleanse
January 13 - February 2, 2025
Thanks to those who joined our New Year’s Community Cleanse! Based on the book, Clean by Alexander Junger, our 21-day community cleanse removed all processed foods, sugar, alcohol, and caffeine products. The cleanse focuses on all the good stuff - fresh fruits and veggies, and light meats or fish (for flesh eaters). It’s so much more fun to do it in community! We supported the cleanse with a WhatsApp group, two mid-cleanse Zoom calls, and a final celebration!
Soulstice Yoga
Thank you for joining us for a rejuvenating and restorative 75-minute vinyasa yoga class followed by tea and treats at the Los Altos Community Center, on Sat., Dec 21, the Winter Solstice. All proceeds went to support GreenTown Los Altos’ great environmental work in the community! We appreciate your support!
